Re: IF Pellegrini would get the sack what options are there out there to replace him?

Oddly for someone who is meant to be an attacking coach, the biggest improvement he’s brought has been defensively. The high line & discipline of that line is way better than before. The number of players we catch offside is v high.
Surprised someone hasn’t worked us out, runners from deep & we are fucked.

Looking at our next half a dozen games it doesn't look good. Unless the team has a real improvement in form and attitude I can't see us picking up more than 5 or 6 points which will leave us getting closer to the drop zone. I wonder what the Pellegrini fan-boys will be saying then.

You think that was a good performance? You completely ignore they had chances too.
He also picked the players directly involved in conceding a goal, or do only the positive decisions count? And his subs were frankly awful.
Same as Everton the last week......... but that apparently doesn’t count coz they are a bogey team.

he did get a performance....
more than enough chances were created to bury that game. In fact he made the call to bring in snodgrass who scored and created numerous chances through crosses
I know you dont like pellegrini but it's foolish to try and pin literally everything on him.
as i said before he's not playing fifa with the players and right now anderson/lanzini and even haller were letting him down offensively

Actually they do need telling every step and they are like teenagers.
Why can’t the 4th highest paid manager in the league get a performance from “the best squad ever”?

well their 100k a week salary should be enough motivation alone. these are grown adults not 15 year old youth players needing to be told every single step what to do

Snodgrass doesn’t work harder than Anderson. He is Scottish and mildly below average and Anderson is Brazilian and good so it’s tempting to think he works harder, but he doesn’t.

So no need to motivate players then?
Are surely pressing & pressurising the opponents is part of those tactics?

to organise tactics and game plan which worked against sheffield united's sitting back until the players forgot how to finish chances off and roberto forgetting he needs to dive quickly

Isn’t Anderson always near the top of the distance covered & tackles made stats?
Not bad for someone with no application.

its not so much the comments themselves that are laughable - although they are - its the NECK of it. Posting to the point of obsession about sacking managers, then all of a sudden its the players. Too stupid to realise you're doing it, i suspect

As snodgrass showed when he was brought in (commendable decision from pellegrini that i wanted)
it's all about attitude and multiple players have shown poor personal application
can only dream of the likes of lanzini and anderson having snodgrass' work rate

I don’t think he should be sacked either, nowhere near it, but he is not doing a good job and most importantly for me, the football is shit to watch.

If it isn’t a manager’s job to get the best out of the players, then the manager should be someone earning £50k per year.
The best managers in any walk of life create an environment and ethos that adds value to the individuals working for him. Pellegrini doesn’t seem to do that.

Cool let’s celebrate staying up FFS.
Everton are our bogey team? What a piss poor excuse for a shit performance.
Haller & Anderson had poor games. Well who’s job is it to make them perform & get the best out of them?
